Kate Carlson, is the owner and lead coordinator of Kate Carlson Events, a boutique event planning firm based in Los Angeles, California. The Colorado native and graduate from The University of Denver arrived in Los Angeles, via New York City and Philadelphia, with a strong background in finance and sales. 

Within her first year of business, her clientele became almost exclusively by referral only, as she focused on high-end wedding planning, design and production for clients in Beverly Hills and beyond.  In the last five years of business she has managed weddings and other multi-day events in Los Angeles, across California in Las Vegas and Colorado, with a typical guest size of 550 plus and budgets ranging from several hundred thousand to one million dollars. Kate typically manages the full planning process starting with engagement parties and culminating in multi-event wedding weekends.  Having built a network of highly talented and reasonably priced vendors, Kate now works with a diverse set of clients, who seek a personalized and unique event planning process and one-of-a kind design.

In her spare time, Kate is an avid world traveler, sports fan and life-long learner.  She loves to ski, travel and find inspiration for the extraordinary within the ordinary of every day.
